CAO applications open for 2026-2027

Are you planning to go to college next year? You can now apply to the Central Applications Office (CAO) for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Applications will close on 1 February 2026.

If you apply online by 20 January 2026, you can pay the discounted fee of €35. The fee will then increase to €50.

Remember, when completing your CAO application, you may also apply for the:

• DARE admissions scheme if you have a disability
• HEAR admissions scheme if you’re from a disadvantaged background

For DARE and HEAR applications, you must apply to the CAO by 1 February 2026. Late applications are not accepted.
