Parents survey on primary schools closes 16 Dec

Have you a child in primary school or will your child start primary school in the coming years?

The Department of Education and Youth is asking parents and guardians of children in primary school, and those who are not yet in primary school, to take a 5-minute survey about their child’s future school.

The survey closes on 16 December 2025. The survey is confidential and asks for your preferences on:

• Co-education (boys and girls educated in the same school) or single-sex schools
• Religious patronage and ethos
• Education through English or Irish
