Public consultation on remote working

Do you work from home or are you interested in remote work? You can now give your views on how the right to request remote working legislation is operating in Ireland.

Since 7 March 2024, all employees have a legal right to request remote working. A legislative review of the right to request remote working is provided for within the Work Life Balance and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2023.   Employees, employers, and members of the public can take part.

You can give your view by filling in the consultation form and submitting it before 3pm on Tuesday, 9 December 2025.
