Leaving Cert: view your exam scripts and appeal your results

You can apply to see your exam script. The window to do this is very narrow! 🚨

Viewing your exam script

From 12 noon on Tuesday, 26 August 2025, you can apply to see your exam script on the Candidate Service Portal. Applications to see your script close on Wednesday, 27 August 2025 at 8pm.

It’s free to view your exam script.

If your script was marked manually, you'll be invited to your school for a 3-hour viewing session at a specific time on Saturday, 30 August.

If your script was marked online, you can get access for 24 hours to view it online from 9am on Saturday, 30 August to 9am on Sunday, 31 August.

Leaving Cert appeals

If you’re not happy with your marks in a subject, you can appeal online from Sunday, 31 August 2025 at 10am.  Applications to appeal will close on Monday, 1 September at 5pm.    You only have a short time to appeal. ⏳

In 2025, the appeal fee for each subject is:

• Leaving Certificate, €40 per subject
• Leaving Certificate Applied, €15.50 per subject

If your appeal is successful and your grade goes up, your appeal fee for that subject is refunded.  Find out how Leaving Cert appeals work.
